Is the drain pipe adapter made of ABS or PVC?
This model is made of PVC material. Components can be ordered in either ABS or PVC, depending on the waste material of the bathtub bottom.

Cutting a brass pipe may result in uneven cuts and sharp edges that can tear the poly gasket, leading to leakage.

How can the center tab be removed with channel locks?
Using pliers, grasp the tab in the middle, shake it slightly, and then firmly pull it out.

1. Check if the poly gasket is placed horizontally and sealed properly. 2. Ensure that the brass pipe is installed correctly and kept straight.
